A Good Day

Sitting on the verandah, breeze gently blowing
Hanging with my wife, for this its worth living
Beer in my hand, child on my knee

Light gently fading, cool breeze off the sea
Darkness forgotten, today, happy me

It's these moments that I live for
The medication removed them, But that is no more
A day that goes badly, can all turn around
By relaxing at home, the birds making sound
It's not always this easy, but I'll enjoy this time round
