Spicks and Specks was freaking awesome. It was so good to finally see the show live. It was a bit sad because it is the last time I will get to see them, apart from repeats obviously. The opening number set the tone for the entire thing and I think I laughed harder than I have since I last saw Ross Noble. The end was pretty emotional. I can't imagine what it is like for the guys to stop doing it after seven years of being on our TVs every week.
Cleaned out the shed at archery today. It was raining when I got there and no-one turned up until later so the three of us that were there started cleaning up. We got a fair bit done. The container is clean and organised and the clubhouse actually looks like a clubhouse again. No more archery until January, although I might go up if I have time over the break and try and get some stuff done around the range.
Toby got a whole pile of books given to him yesterday so now we need to make room to store them. I am wondering if we can move things around to get them into his room. I believe that Kat wants to give him the spare queen bed so I might be able to come up with storage drawers to go under the bed.
I am sorry for bignoting myself, but I make the best meals with nothing other than guesswork. I made burritoey things tonight. They were yum. It went like this.
Ingredients:
500 grams of Diced beef
1 jar of nacho sauce
1 can of mexebeans
Jar of salsa
sour cream
lettuce
cheese
mountain bread
rice
1. Cook your mince, then add the drained mexebeans. Cook, while stirring occasionally, for about 3 mins then turn off the heat. Add the nacho sauce and stir.
2. Cook your rice. Drain it then stir some pepper through it. Spoon it onto some paper towel and press firmly on top with more paper towel to remove the excess water.
3. Put the rice, then the beef onto a piece of mountain bread. Add the sour cream, lettuce, salsa and cheese. roll it up and then roll it into another piece of mountain bread.
4. Eat and then post comments to tell me what you think :)
Well, that's it from me. Remember there is a comments box thingy that you can use to talk back to me. See you later, alligator.
